About the details of the workshop

Our workshop dates are usually
Weekdays:
Tues / Wed / Thurs from 10am to 3pm
Weekends:
Saturday from 11.30am to 4pm
Lesson dates:
Weekdays from 10am to 3pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
Holidays are Saturdays from 11:30 to 4:00

Calls will be in English, but messages will be in Japanese.
Workshop would be taught by a japanese trainer assist by an English / mandarin speaking assistant trainer. (Please note that English speaking classes are not available on tuesdays)
About the instructor
One Japanese trainer and one assistant in English and Chinese will give lessons.
It is not a specialized lesson, but a lesson for beginners of cloth stores.
Lessons are held in small groups of up to 3 or 4 people.
Our workshop are open class instead of specific workshop, meaning students might be learning different projects are the same time.
Student can choose from projects available from our website or from books / pattern available from our shop. Prior to coming for the workshop, students are advised to let us know what do they intend to do so that we could prepared for the workshop.
Since the concept is that each student can freely make what they want to make, you can make as much as you like, not to mention the basic workshop material on the website.
We will select the subject in consultation with the instructor.
We will make it according to each student's level and request

We will consult with you to the extent possible.
Our sewing classes range from pouches / bags / pillow cases / clothing (baby / adult / japanese traditional wear).
Our sewing classes are beginners friendly as well. Student with no prior machine experience will be taught how to use step by step.
Since this is basically a workshop for beginners, even those who have no experience with sewing machines will be taught carefully from how to hang threads and how to turn on the power.
You can bring your own sewing machine, but please check in advance.
Other than sewing classes, we have crochet / knitting classes as well as accessories making workshop.
There are also knitting lessons.

Other information:
1) Our beginner workshop is suitable for people who have no prior knowledge of using the sewing machine.
2) The recommended age for kids friendly workshop is from 8years old onwards.
However we recommend at least 1 guardian to be present with children between the age
of 8-10 years old for the first few workshop
3) Please note that for apparels workshop we do not teach students how to self draft accordingly to
their size. We usually follow patterns size from books available in our shop.
4) Please note that there will be no refund once package expired. However we allow student to bring forward their balance package by purchasing a new package. However subjected to maximum period of 1 month after date of expiry.
